Posted by popular demand, here is a picture of our backyard. This is the lower section of our backyard and on Monday I divided it with a 4" square tie (I bought an 8' piece from Home Depot and used a leftover one from our front yard project). The idea is to grow grass on the right side with the stepping stones (I transplanted a few pieces of sod and seeded the rest) and then use the left side as a planting area for some of our plants and bonsai pots (Gerry... this will be my unofficial bullpen area).
Here too is a lovely picture of the beautiful clematis that Andrew and Colleen Burkinshaw bought us as a departing gift. Our plan is to slowly train it to grow up and around our arbour.
