Happy (American) Thanksgiving...Texas Style

Last week we traveled to Seattle and then flew to Houston, TX to celebrate American Thanksgiving with Keith's brother Kevin and sister-in-law Caroline. This marked many firsts for our family....Hudson's first US Thanksgiving, Melissa's first trip to Texas, and Hudson's first flight. We all had a great time and we're so thankful to K&C for their hospitality. Hudson enjoyed cruising around the airport in the snugli with Mommy. He had to come out of the snugli, though, to go through security otherwise Mom would have had to have a full body pat down. No thanks!
Checking out the snow that debilitated the Seatac runway.
Hudson loved looking out the window and banging on it.
Taking a nap on the plane...unfortunately this was while we were being de-iced and didn't count into the official flight time.
Watching football with Uncle Kevin on Thanksgiving Day.
Helping Uncle Kevin open an early Christmas gift from Keith - Seahawks ornaments for the Christmas tree.
An early Christmas gift from Kevin to Keith - a retro Seahawks jacket.
Aunt Caroline introducing Hudson to Sophie the bunny. Hudson wasn't too great at being gentle and even grabbed a bit of her fur into his hand. Hudson also enjoyed meeting the dogs Leo and Murphy.
When you wake up too early in Houston, you get to watch Baby Einstein. Hudson just started watching these movies in the past two weeks and he is mesmerized by them. It's sweet to see the parts he laughs or smiles at.
Kevin organized much of our trip around great food. This is a pork chop that the boys enjoyed. While they were eating this meat, Caroline and I got pedicures :)
Happy Hudson with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Caroline at Nasa's Rocket Park.
We borrowed a DVD player so Hudson could watch Baby Einstein on the plane. As exciting as the movie was, trying to touch all the buttons or close it or put it in his mouth was exciting too.
