Blog Neglect

We haven't taken too many pictures around here lately since many of the most entertaining things Hudson has been doing have been related to talking.  Hudson loves to play "nines," as we hold his hands, walk up the stairs and count from 1 to 9.  He is able to count all the way to 10, but sometimes he needs a bit of help.

At meals and before bed we pray with Hudson.  At meals he often shouts of things to pray for, like cows, pigs and ducks.  Before bed I always ask him what he wants to thank Jesus for and last week he was often thanking Jesus for "Santa," "more Santa" and "polar bears."  On Saturday night we went to see friends for dinner and Hudson learned the words "friends" and "cake."  When we came home he thanked Jesus for friends and cake.  He learned the word neighbours ("naynay") on Sunday when we watched the Super Bowl across the street and was quick to thank Jesus for "naynay" at bed time.  Tonight he was thankful for "choochoos."  It's quite cute to see what he comes up with each night.

And for those grandparents reading, here are some pictures of Hudson this morning sporting a new hat that our friend Roz made for him.
