On Saturday we were invited to our first ever Bee Party to celebrate the Day of the Honeybee (which is actually tomorrow). Andrew & Colleen treated us to a trivia game (Andrew knows more about bees than any of his guests) and a great meal at their house. Here are the moms and kids with the bee party mascot. I made these mini bee cupcakes for the party.
On the way to the party we stopped at a local dairy that also has a small animal exhibit. Hudson was excited to see goats, a donkey, cows, turkeys and pigs. He even pet one of the baby goats, a big step from our last visit in November when he was afraid of all the animals. He tells us that the goat "come close" and then he pet it.
