A few weeks ago both kids were sick and I wasn't sure what to do with them all day...so I put them in the bath. This was one of their first baths together (Hudson usually refuses to share with Hailey) and they had a blast.
Hailey is very maternal. She loves to care for her dolls and animals. She also loves to talk on the phone even though she often grins but doesn't say much (here she is talking to Aunty Sara).
One morning she set up her doll and her duck on our bed and then "read" them a Bible story. Then Dad joined in for the story too.
And she loves to cuddle!
We had some sunny days this week so we spent time playing outside. Hudson is sporting two different boots - he couldn't decide which pair to wear. Hailey is wearing a hat and a hood - she likes her head well covered.
Hudson has been busy at preschool. Last week we went to see his class perform The 3 Little Pigs. Here they are singing "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" at the end. He also had a field trip to an equestrian center.
Today was Grandparents' Day. Grammy came to town so she could attend with him. He did a great job performing his songs at the end (videos to come).
And sometimes Keith and I even do things, like hire a babysitter and go out for dinner so we can eat as slowly as we want to and talk to each other without being interrupted.
