We continue to be very busy around our house. One new thing we have been doing is lots of food play. Hudsy is a very selective eater and many specialists have suggested food play as a way of getting him comfortable touching/smelling foods of different textures/smells. Here Hudson and Hailey are making football fields - spinach is the grass, carrots & teddy grahams are the teams, and a strawberry is the football. Our attempt to make goal posts out of mini marshmallows didn't work so we went without them.
This weekend Hailey transitioned to her big girl bed. She was excited for her last night in her crib and her first night in her new bed. Unlike Hudson, who spent weeks repeatedly getting out of his bed, Hailey goes right to sleep and we don't see or hear from her until the infamous owl turns green. (Since these photos we have actually assembled the bed so it's not just a mattress on the floor).
These cousins enjoy each other and it's so sweet to watch. On Sunday they came to watch the NBA Finals. All on their own, Hailey and Reese ended up in the playroom doing some kind of pretend eating/feeding with dolls, and Hudson volunteered to push Holly on Thomas.
