Yesterday Hudson and I, along with about 60 members of my extended family and some friends, went to a Washington Huskies game for the third annual Kroeker Family & Friends game. Keith and Hudson went last year and this year Hudson and I went. We rode to the game on a motor coach that my Dad and three of his friends own.
We tailgated both before and after the game, which Hudson was thrilled about. He told me he wanted to eat a million chips.
The weather was beautiful, the Dawgs won (by 10 points more than they had last year, which is what Hudson had told Keith he wanted to have happen), and we had a great time. After the game a group of students was walking through the parking lot playing music for beer. This was a highlight for everyone except Hudson, who wanted to keep playing football with the guys.
This morning we had some time for the kids to play with Papa, Aunty Sara and Uncle Tom before they went home to Kelowna. Hailey was in her element to be colouring with Papa and doing Aunty Sara's hair.
