Our little boy has two new favourite toys - his playmat and his hands. In the past week he has begun to happily lay on his playmat for 15-45 minutes at a time, hitting at the toys that hang down over his face, shoving some of them in his mouth (seemingly by accident), and chattering away. At times this activity attracts quite the crowd.
He has also discovered how to put his hands in his mouth. Sometimes he gets an entire fist in there, sometimes a combo of a few fingers, and sometimes just his thumb. He makes a very cute sucking sound as he does it and seems quite proud of himself as he sucks away.
All of this activity, along with some early morning wake-ups, can make Hudson and Melissa quite tired.
