For the past few years we have spent a weekend in the summer camping with our good friends the Hoffman family and the Lentz family. As we've gone from no kids (year 1) to 4 kids (this year), camping has gotten harder and since our littlest member was only 3 months old we decided against camping this year and rather got together in Seattle at the Lentz home for a few days. And this year we were lucky to be joined by our friend Brad, who is often off traveling the world, and his lady friend.
So on Thursday night we got Hudson all ready for bed and then headed out to the car for our trip to Seattle. But first Hudson has some things to check out in the yard so we put on his crocks with his sleeper and he got to work.
We spent one morning at the Woodland Park Zoo. Hudson was mildly interested in the animals when he could see them, but mostly enjoyed pushing his own stroller around. Baby Samuel slept.
We also spent some time at a nearby park. And Hudson and Ethan played very nicely together at the house, too.
All in all it was a great time to re-connect with old friends. But a lot different now that we have these little guys around :)
