Hudson and I spent a few days in Kelowna last week (I had to be there for work and then we stayed a few extra days). Hudson enjoyed a lot of fun with Papa, Baba, Aunty Sara and Uncle Tom, as well as lots of my extended family, including both of his "Big Babas" (great-grandmas). Here he is in a blanket swing with Papa and Sara.
On Saturday I set up an Easter egg hunt for Hudson in my parents' backyard, filling up lots of plastic eggs with goldfish crackers. Hudson was delighted to run around and find them.
After we went inside and Hudson ate all of his fish crackers, he went to the backdoor and said "find more eggs, find more eggs."
On Tuesday Hudson had some early Easter celebrations with Ella and Juliette, enjoying their snack from inside their plastic eggs and doing an Easter colouring craft. These three are such good friends and it's a real joy to watch them together. Ali and I like to call them the three musketeers. It will be interesting to see how Ali's new baby will fit into the mix when he/she arrives in June.
