Before Hudson was born I bought a used rocking chair from a friend, who had bought it from a friend. The blue fabric below is the original and my friend had recovered it with a beige fabric. I'd always wanted to recover it with something else. A few weeks ago I was at Joann Fabric in the US and nearly had a heart attack at the low, low cost of fabric. So the rocking chair recover project began.
Here is the finished product. Part of the time I was sewing Hudson was in his high chair eating a snack saying "Mommy sew. Mommy sew." It was very motivational.
Ethan was over for a play date yesterday and both boys seemed to approve of the new look.
