After a busy day, Hudson & Mom sometimes cuddle up on the couch to watch an episode of Curious George (or "Monkey George" as Hudson calls it).  I use the time to rest my eyes since I've seen the worm race (or the car race or the bus) episode MANY times already and don't need to see it to know what's going on.  Hudson for some reason likes to cover his ears sometimes when he's watching a show.  It's not too loud.  And I've asked him if he's scared and he said no, so we're not sure what's up.  The other night we found his fast asleep in his crib with his ears covered so we think he may just find that position cozy.
When Grandma Kroeker came to visit last weekend she brought along an indoor tent she had picked up at a garage sale.  Hudson likes it quite a bit.  He's filled it with all of his books a few times.  He also puts his cow-giraffe on his Thomas the train, drives Thomas into the tent, and then drives Thomas back into the study, and then back into the tent....
This morning we went to the Cloverdale Kids Swap to look for girl clothes for the baby and for fall clothes for Hudson.  This was my first time and I learned many important lessons.
(1) Even though it doesn't say so on the website, you may admission per person.  Leave your son and husband at home.
(2) It's cheaper admission if you come at 10am or later.
(3) The climate in the room is similar to that of a sauna - leave your coat and anything else warm in the car.
(4) It's very full and people are pushy - leave your purse and anything else in the car - just bring a pocket full of coins and $5 bills, and some cloth bags.  This is also another reason to leave your son and husband at home.
(5) You will feel overwhelmed and when you get back to the car you might not be sure what you bought.
But here is my loot.  No boys clothes big enough for Hudson, so I just got clothes for the little lady.  Only $12 for all these goodies!
