Big White Vacation with Uncle Kevin

Two weeks ago Uncle Kevin came from Texas to spend his spring break with us.  We spent some with at our house (Kevin and Hudson made a lego cement mixer that Etta gave Hudsy as a birthday gift, while wearing their Seahawks Super Bowl Champs shirts) and then we headed to Big White, just outside Kelowna, for some skiing.
Hudson was uncharacteristically brave, being quite excited to try skiing for the first time.  Since Keith and Kevin snowboard, I was the one to teach Hudson how to cruise the slopes.

He loved riding the chair lift and on the second day of skiing he told me "Mom, don't touch my body, just the harness!"

Uncle Tom, Aunty Sara, Grandma and Papa all came up to visit one day after work.  They played with Hailey and then pulled Hudson back to the condo after a long afternoon (1.5 hours) of skiing.  I was the one who really needed the ride back to the condo - all of snow plowing was tough on my legs!

The kids enjoyed watching for skiers out the window of the condo and going on "adventures" in the stairwells of the condo building.

Grandma stayed with us one day so that she could babysit H2 while Keith, Kevin and I all skied together.
Although not pictured, Hailey was especially fond of Uncle Kevin, often wanting him to hold her and cuddling up on his shoulder.  It was very sweet.
Thanks for the fun visit, Uncle Kevin!
