We spent the first day of 2016 de-Christmasing our house and going through grandparent withdrawal. We also saw a big milestone for Hudson - he lost his first tooth! Wasn't it just yesterday he was getting his first tooth?
Hailey welcomed in the new year by inventing a "bonk" on each of her big toes so she could use two of her new Hello Kitty bandaids.
On Boxing Day we celebrated Christmas with my family who came to the Lower Mainland this year. The 26th was also the day of the bowl game for the Dawgs, so we had a very purple Christmas.
The kids decorated Christmas cookies - I'm sure no germs were spread when Hailey insisted on licking the knife between every spread of icing.
A favourite show for Hudson and Hailey this Christmas was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and they watched it with Papa and Grandma one night.
And when everyone went home, we had one tired princess on our hands.
