A few weeks ago we showed our kids the Disney classic Robin Hood. It's a favourite of Keith's and I really like it too. The kids love it. And I mean LOVE it. They've watched it several times, they've also played Robin Hood, coloured Robin Hood pictures and repeated their favourite lines. Hailey is especially fond of "the good king, King Richard" and often tells us he has a cross on his shirt.
Hudson and Hailey have also been very interested in colouring lately, spending long periods of time colouring and cutting. Hudson has been doing a lot of printing, sounding out the words he wants to write. And, of course, he has been making lots of imaginary brackets, inspired by the NCAA Tournament.
Hailey can be quite the character. One day when Hudson was at school she stripped down to her underwear, so as not to get her clothes wet, and then proceeded to "wash dishes" for a long time. Another day she was quietly eating lunch when she began laughing because she had put a raspberry on each finger. In the bottom picture she is wearing her "black sweater," her favourite article of clothing these days. One day she wore it all day, took it off just long enough to put on her pajamas but quickly put it on over her pajamas, then took it off long enough to get dressed in the morning but quickly added it to her outfit again.
