Keith's parents and Kevin & Caroline came up to our house for a visit so we could continued the 60th birthday celebration and combined it with Father's Day festivities over the weekend. We enjoyed more good food (like steak!), more fun Hudson watching, and lots of good conversation.
Hudson played "here Granddad, I'll give you all of my books one at a time" with Granddad.
He learned how to use Uncle Kevin's iPad.
We went to Uncle Ryan and Aunty Laura's townhouse where the guys played bocce ball in the greenspace and Hudson had Grandma take him on the slide a LOT of times. Eventually Aunty Caroline got in on the action too.
Today we went into Fort Langley for a walk and lunch at Wendels. Hudson has decided that he doesn't need bite sized pieces anymore. He can take the whole thing (like a muffin, or half an apple) and "bite" pieces off. Sometimes he really bites, sometimes he gnaws, sometimes he just smooshes it in his mouth enough that a piece finally flakes off.
He showed Uncle Kevin how to push a stroller.
He wore Aunty Caroline's sunglasses.
And eventually we bid farewell to our favourite Texan residents.
