Hudson and I traveled to Kelowna for a few days this past week to throw a shower for Aunty Sara and to help with some wedding planning. We traveled with my friend Juliet and baby Ethan. Both boys did very well, but the items we packed and the reasons we had to stop looked very different than when Juliet and I used to take road trips together :)
Hudson was a busy boy in Kelowna...

He found a picture of a handsome boy (himself) and admired it.

He did some colouring with Aunty Sara. He thought it was very successful but his colourful face and arms says otherwise.

He played in the backyard on his police car.

He thought he was mowing the lawn.

He showed his desire for independence once again by demanding that he "brush" his own teeth.

Grandma fed him bran muffins and smoothies...and cleaned up the mess.

And he was a bit of a mini-lookalike to Grandpa.
And while Hudson was so busy, Melissa did a lot of pretty things for Sara's wedding.

Sara had some friends over to make favours. Of course I can't show you pictures of that - they're a surprise for the wedding - but here are the pretty treats we ate while we worked.

Here is the pretty bride-to-be at the shower that Laura, Kayla and I held for her.

Laura, me, Sara and Kayla - don't worry, on the wedding day some of us will match.
