The other day I was doing something on the computer and Hudson came into the study and wanted to take the garbage can. This is one of his new favourite toys so I let him trot away pushing it in front of him. A moment later I heard a whimper and turned around to see this. "How did you get trapped like that?" I thought.
I freed him from his awkward, trapped position in the garbage can, sat the can upright and turned around. What does Hudson immediately do? Put himself back into the same position and whimper again. End of game - garbage can put away.
Tonight I got the urge to see if Hudson could still be swaddled. Indeed he still barely fits in a blanket and he will lay still long enough to be wrapped up.
But he frees himself quite quickly and as you can see from his expression here he thinks "Mom, it's time to grow up!"
