Hudson is all ready for the NFL season to begin, thanks to some great hand-me-downs from our cousin Jackson. This morning I suggested a new church shirt for him to wear (from Grandma Kroeker) and Hudson said "no new Grandma shirt, Seahawks shirt." And he was happy to add this coat to his outfit too.
When I told him we needed to put on shoes he said "Uncle Toms." He had a pair of Toms shoes that he just grew out of and he didn't really catch on that Toms was a brand and not shoes from his Uncle Tom. He was disappointed not to wear his Uncle Toms, but was happy when I got out these new-to-us shoes and happily told people at church he was wearing "Nikes."
