Today we took a trip to Maplewood Farms in North Vancouver with our friends the Lungs and the Lafleurs (Jonas was too cool to be in our group picture).
Hudson was very excited about the trip but we did have to spend some time talking about the animals you see at a farm versus the animals you see at a zoo (elephants, wombats, wolves). The farm had ponies, cows, pigs, roosters, chickens, ducks, peacocks, sheep, horses and bunnies. The kids loved to chase the ducks around the field.
Hudson leaned over the fence and said "hi sheep."
And he was surprisingly brave with both feeding bunnies and petting goats.
It was a great trip! Hudson did a lot of petting, running and giggling with delight, as did the other kiddos. And us parents got a chance to visit in the midst of all the fun, too.
