Recap

Earlier this week we got a package in the mail from Uncle Kevin, Aunty Caroline and Etta.  It had lots of great stuff, including some super cute clothes for Hailey (pictures to come when she is a bit bigger) and a new Star Wars shirt for Hudson.  Hudson was very excited to open the box and now he happily wears his "new shirt from Uncle Kevin....Daddy's favourite."  

 

 

 Over the past few months Hudson has developed a love of trains.  We have often taken him to play on the train table at Chapters and before Hailey was born we borrowed a Thomas train set from some friends, planning to give it to Hudson after Hailey was born so he'd have something new to play with.  We brought it out this week and Hudson is in love.  He has been playing with "Hudsy's train table" for hours every day.  

  

Our friend Ethan came over on  Thursday and the boys made and decorated pumpkin sugar cookies.  Ethan was very interested in eating (that's his "cheese" face) and Hudson was very interested in putting as many sprinkles as possible on each cookie.

 Hailey went to the doctor today and she now weighs 7lbs 5oz - this means she gained 10oz in just the past week.  Good work little girl!  But she is still very small.  We put her in her fleece snowsuit to go on a walk today and she put both of her legs into one leg of the snowsuit. 

 She continues to be an excellent baby.  She eats and sleeps well.  She accepts her big brother's cuddles and doesn't seem bothered when he tries to play with her while she is sleeping.  She makes very cute little faces and sounds while she sleeps.
