Our poor blog has been neglected for the past few weeks - sorry!
Here are some pictures of what we've been up to while it's been rainy in our neighbourhood.
Hailey continues to be very adventurous and "climby." She often climbs onto counters, table tops, counter tops, Keith's neck, and (when doing push ups) Keith's back.
Both kids enjoy doing art work and crafts. One day when Keith was home I braved paints with them and they both did great.
Along with climbing comes falling and getting hurt for poor Hailey. She often needs cuddles and ice packs during the day.
We've started having occasional movie nights with the kids, with popcorn and sometimes juice boxes. One afternoon Hudson wanted to watch a show and have popcorn so he suggested a movie afternoon. It was so cute I couldn't refuse.
One afternoon Hailey set up a booster seat for her baby, then climbed in and pretended to eat the baby's play food. She's done one short trip on her strider bike, all walking, no coasting yet.
She also goes to swimming lessons on Friday mornings while Hudson is at preschool. She LOVES it. She's always eager to get on her coat, boots and back pack.
During the Super Bowl Reesie and Hailey played with dolls in the kitchen at Aunty Jan's house. Perhaps we all should have done that.....
Hudson's gotten better at writing and drawing. Above is a family picture and underneath it says "Dad." Below is his version of "Hudson."
As an early birthday gift from Grandma and Papa, Hudson got a race car track. He loves it. And Hailey likes to watch while shoving her duck up her shirt.
