This weekend we celebrated Hudson's fifth birthday. At his request, on Saturday he had a Seahawks themed birthday party, with all guests being asked to dress in Seahawks clothes or colours. Hudson also got many Seahawks gifts, including a Russell Wilson jersey from us.
Party Guests: Ethan, Hudson, Liam, Moriah, Natalie, Ella, Juliette
Montana, Reese and Hailey
And our littlest guest: Holly
We played several games in the gym, including Football, Football, Seahawks (duck, duck, goose), Pin the Eye on the Seahawk (pin the tail on the donkey) and a relay race in football gear.
One of Hudson's favourite gifts is a board game from Aunty Laura called Touchdowns & Turnovers. Hudson has already found ways to make the game more complicated and require more parts.
On Sunday we had the traditional birthday pancake breakfast. Hailey wanted candles in her pancakes too, so we sang "happy not birthday to you" for her.
And Hailey added to Hudson's helmet collection, giving him a set of Pac12 helmets.
Happy Birthday Hudson. We love you so much.
