We've been having a fun, busy summer, which has left our blog sorely neglected. Here is an update on what we've been up to the past few weeks.
Hudson and Hailey are growing in their ability to play with one another....and without us. Here they are playing carwash at our house and making bubble snakes (courtesy of Aunty Sara) at Ridgewood.
Sweet Holly was dedicated to God at church.
We took a trip to Kelowna for some summer sun and a few celebrations. Both kids had lots of fun at the beach and were quite adventurous in the water.
My Dad retired from his 36 year career as an elementary school teacher so we spent a day boating and hanging out at the beach, followed by dinner by the lake, to celebrate.
After that, the extended Kroeker clan arrived in Kelowna to celebrate the wedding of my cousin Cam and his lovely bride Britney.
We fit in some time at the beach with family, too. Hudson and Hailey are blessed with some wonderful older cousins (who are actually my younger cousins) who like to play with them.
The morning of the wedding these three crazies spent a lot of time preparing a picnic in the playhouse at Ridgewood. Preparations took exponentially longer than the picnic itself. After some lunch and baths, they were wedding ready.
Hudson was the ring bearer and Reese was the flower girl.

We took our semi-annual family photo with the 12 of us in the backyard at Ridgewood.
Hudson was introduced to the idea of "now let's do a funny one" and likes to add that into photo shoots now.
