Merry Christmas

We celebrated Christmas at home this year. Hailey continues to be a very active colourer. Her speciality over the Christmas season was a Christmas tree with gifts, as well as a window with curtains and snow falling down.
For Christmas Hailey really wanted an Elf on the Shelf. She's not sure what it's supposed to do, but she's been happily sleeping with it and carrying it around the house since she got it on Christmas morning. Hudson wanted a stuffie and a car contraption.
Hailey also really likes to read these days.
And she loves snowmen. For her it's less about rolling balls of snow and piling them up, and more about assembling some kind of snow pile and adding a face.

After Christmas we visited Grammy, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Kiki, Etta and Louise.
Hailey and Etta spent lots of time putting on concerts and doing each other's hair.
As a Christmas gift to the kids, Grammy got a zipline for her yard. Keith and Kevin installed it in the front yard and the kids (and Grammy!) enjoyed riding it.
Hailey has wanted a "Seahawks shirt with a number on it." Since Hudson's jersey was getting small, we talked him into giving it to Hailey for Christmas. And then we got him a new jersey for Christmas. They didn't get too many games in their new jerseys before the Hawks' season was over though.
We traveled to Kelowna for New Year's and all of us were at Ridgewood to share a meal together.
Playing games and watching the train go around the tree were big hits. And Hailey built another snowman, this one with even more accessories.
Back at home, Keith and Hailey made brownies. Hailey finds more unique ways to sit.
And the kids have invented a new game called unicorn, where Hudson sits on Hailey's back and she crawls around the living room.
