Keith and (especially) Melissa enjoy walking/hiking the Houston Trail. The last time we went was a week before Hudson was born. We went again a couple of weeks ago with Hudson in the snuggli. We often call Hudson our little prairie dog. When he's on our shoulder or in the snuggli he keeps his head and neck very straight, looking around curiously, just like a prairie dog poking out of its hole.
Here is Hudson at the start of our walk. It appears he's holding onto the strap for dear life.
Here is Hudson as we neared the car at the end of our walk. His prairie dog head slowly gave into fatigue and sunk into the snuggli so only his hat was poking out. He also started to trust Keith more and let go of his death grip on the strap.
