Bigger Boy

In recent days Hudson's back arches have become quite powerful and at times it looks like he might fall out of the bumbo or push it off the counter top. As a result, we have invested in a booster seat style high chair for him. Yesterday was his first day trying it out. I have also been working with Hudson to get him to eat finger food like cheerios. He has been very good at getting cheerios into his hands (they are often quite slobbery so the cheerios stick easily) but not as good at getting them into his mouth. Yesterday he got them into his mouth, though, seemingly motivated by his more grown up high chair.
And here are a few more pictures of Hudson's visit with Granddad and Grandma Reed. Classic pose for the visit was Grandma watching Hudson admiringly and Granddad catching all of Hudson's moves on digital or video camera.

And my little pumpkin in his cute hat, all dressed up and ready for a fall outing with Mommy. This week has been unseasonably warm so we have enjoyed a trip to Kitsilano, the Cloverdale library, and the Fort to Fort Trail with friends of Mommy and Hudson.
