Merry (Kroeker) Christmas

We spent the last week in Kelowna celebrating a belated Christmas with my (Melissa's) family. We had a late Christmas Eve, with a turkey dinner made by my Momma and many gifts. Hudson still ate rice cereal and avacado, but he did get to take part in the gifts part. He got great things like new clothes, a stuffed giraffe, a new pair of slippers, some books and some toys. He sort of opened his gifts, but was usually happy as soon as he pulled out one piece of tissue paper or ripped off one piece of wrapping paper - he didn't feel the need to dig in all the way to the gift so we had to help him. And at one point he became obsessed with hugging Aunty Laura and totally forgot about his gifts.
Hudson gave both sets of his grandparents a stepping stone for the yard with his own footprint in it. Here is Grandpa Kroeker verifying the authenticity of the footprint.
On our fake Christmas morning we opened stockings and had a big breakfast courtesy of my Dad. And later that day we took part in another Kroeker Christmas family tradition - Family Jeopardy. My brother Ryan made the questions this year. He did a great job and we all had a lot of fun. I came in second...Keith came in first.
We did other fun Christmas things, like walking in the cold & snow with Aunty Sara, and having visits from my Gramma Kroeker and Aunty Lyla.
And of course a lot of football was watched, including the big Huskies win in the Holiday Bowl.
And what if you keep Mom and Dad up in the night crying after the Huskies' big win? Then in the morning M&D go back to bed and you get to play with Grandma. And what if while M&D are sleeping you have a huge poop over all of your clothes and all of your clean clothes are in M&D's room? Then you get to watch Baby Einstein in just a diaper and be wrapped in a blanket to be kept warm.
Thanks, Ridgewood, for a great second Christmas. Thanks G&G, Aunty Sara, Tom, Uncle Ryan and Aunty Laura for playing with Hudson. And special thanks to Grandma for all the poop she cleaned up, especially the one in the tub...
