A boy after his Grandpa K's heart, Hudson has been busily mowing the lawn (and sometimes the cement) in the backyard this past week. Big thanks to Grandma K for picking up this lawn mower for Hudson at a garage sale earlier this summer. It's a hit!
We got Hudson an outdoor wading pool this past week. On Monday he happily played with it inside, filling it with toys and feeding the fish eyes with his spoon. But when I set it up outside on Tuesday, filling it with water and turning on the spray features, Hudson was more interested in sitting on the hard cement and filling this watering can with rocks. Here's hoping he's more into next week when G&G Reed are here to babysit.
Hudson also enjoyed an outdoor picnic with Jonas (and the rest of the Lungs) over the weekend. The boys sat (for a little bit at least) in their chairs and ate. Then they ran through the sprinkler together and fought over the lawn mower.
And just like his Mom, Hudson watched some of the W Network marathon on Canada Day and wondered "will they love it or will they list it?" And he also wore his stuffed monkey on his back for a bit.
