After many hours, tons of paperwork, and too much money, today Keith reached the end of his journey from student visa to permanent resident to citizen! Our family climbed into the car early this morning to make it to the 8:30am ceremony in Surrey.
Hudson got to sit with Keith for a little bit before the ceremony started and he was very interested in the book and flag Keith received. However, when the ceremony started Hudson wouldn't sit quietly in my lap so we headed out to the hallway with the other loud kids to eat raisins and run around, missing the entire 30 minute ceremony. Rats!
But in the end, Keith and 84 others from 25 different countries were welcomed into citizenship. Here we are, 3 happy Canadian Reeds.
