This post is for those of you who have an eye for interior design and might have a suggestion for me as to what to hang on two problem walls in my house.
Problem Wall 1: The Ensuite

I have an empty frame up on the problem wall in the ensuite (pictured above), but I have no idea what to fill it with! I'm posting a few pictures of our bedroom so you can get a feel of the general look we have going. Red, beige, black accents for the most part and I think I'd like to stick with that. In the other two black frames you can see I framed scrapbook paper, but the frame in the ensuite is too big for a piece of scrapbook paper. Maybe fabric or wrapping paper?

Problem Wall 2: Above Hudson's Crib

(Note: Forgive the slight disarray. The mobile broke last night and the white cabinet is crammed up against the change table so Keith can finish hanging the blackout blind.) My original design for Hudson's room worked great for wall art, but when I had to reconfigure everything (his crib was under the window and he started playing with the blinds all the time), I was left with a big empty wall above his crib. The general look in the nursery is "bunny meadows," which is mostly brown, white and green. I've looked at wall art phrases/quotes but keep finding lames ones. And I'm trying not to introduce new animals since the bunnies are all over the bumper pads, curtains, etc. I've thought about a refinished mirror or a chalkboard in a cool frame. Help!

a GIGANTIC photo you and hubbys hands with your wedding rings in all the frames. DO IT!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I'm still thinking about the ensuite frame... I'll let you know. But I LOVE the idea of a chalkboard for Hudson's room. You could write cute messages on it or write up a few "new words of the week" for him to learn... it could be really fun and super cute!
