Although it's been incredibly hot here this week, our kids seem immune to the heat. Both kids still want to have blankets on them when they go to bed and the other night we found Hudson fast asleep with a fleece blanket wrapped around his neck like a scarf. As seen below, one hot afternoon Hailey insisted on putting on her running shoes and Hudson's lined raincoat with hood. By the time she took it off, her hair was completely wet with sweat.
Continuing with the trend of liking each other more, here are Hudson and Hailey doing some morning reading together and also watching an episode of Curious George on the couch while I prepped the car for our trip to Crescent Beach (hence the bathing suits).
Juliet and I took our kids to Crescent Beach on Friday morning and here are the four of them enjoying their picnic lunch.
